Meet Our Teachers

Miss Paige brings nearly 20 years of experience in education and a deep passion for helping young children discover the world around them. She holds a Bachelor's degree from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education from Texas State University. As both an experienced educator and a Texas Master Naturalist, Miss Paige brings a unique depth of knowledge to Born to Be Raised. She believes curiosity is one of a child's greatest tools for learning and loves creating opportunities for children to ask questions, make observations, investigate ideas, and build meaningful connections between academic concepts and the natural world. Her thoughtful approach to teaching blends strong educational foundations with hands-on experiences and genuine wonder. Miss Paige is passionate about creating learning experiences that challenge children, build confidence, and encourage them to remain curious about the world around them. Her experience and love of nature make her an incredible part of the Born to Be Raised founding team.

Miss Rachel brings a unique blend of experience in human services, family support, and early childhood education to Born to Be Raised. She studied Social Work and Human Services at Texas Tech University before spending several years working in nonprofit case management and counseling. After becoming a mother, Rachel's professional journey led her into early childhood education, where she discovered a genuine passion for teaching and supporting young children. Her background gives her a thoughtful understanding of relationships, communication, and the importance of creating an environment where children feel encouraged and confident as they learn. Rachel's warm, bubbly personality is infectious, and children are naturally drawn to the joy and enthusiasm she brings into a room. She believes meaningful learning is built through connection, curiosity, and encouragement, and she loves celebrating the unique strengths each child brings to the classroom. Miss Rachel's heart for children and families makes her a wonderful part of the Born to Be Raised team.

Miss Faith leads Afterschool Enrichment and Exploration Fridays at Born to Be Raised, creating hands-on experiences that encourage children to explore new interests, build skills, and discover what sparks their curiosity. After relocating from Washington State to Texas, Faith discovered her passion for education through her work as a teaching assistant. Working alongside children showed her the joy of helping young learners grow in confidence and realize what they are capable of through creativity, curiosity, and meaningful experiences. Outside of school, Faith loves cooking, creating art, hiking, and exploring the outdoors. Her own interests naturally inspire the experiences she brings to Born to Be Raised, from creative projects and cooking to nature exploration and themed investigations. Faith believes learning can be found in everyday experiences and is passionate about giving children opportunities to try something new, create with their hands, and discover interests they may carry with them for years to come.

Sarah Andersen is the founder of Born to Be Raised and has spent more than 20 years working in early childhood education and alongside children and families. Her experience includes owning and operating a preschool, leading early childhood programs, and developing learning environments designed around how children grow, learn, and build confidence. Sarah's perspective on education is also deeply personal. After entering foster care at ten years old, she attended sixteen different elementary schools, giving her a unique perspective on the role relationships, environment, and belonging play in a child's educational experience. Years later, becoming a mother to a naturally curious little boy brought those experiences together in a new way. Born to Be Raised grew from Sarah's belief that strong academics, meaningful relationships, nature, and the wonder of childhood do not have to compete. She created the school to give children space to become curious thinkers, capable problem-solvers, and confident lifelong learners.
